I show up on the day I said, work the yard front to back, and haul off what I cut. Shrubs get shaped rather than sheared into cubes. Gravel gets raked back where it belongs. Anything that needs your attention — a dying plant, a broken emitter, a wall crack — I tell you about instead of working around it.
